London to Paris Charity Bike Ride

Bradley Perks of our London office is took part in a charity fundraiser bike ride from London to Paris over three days from 26th  to 28th  May.

The sponsorship funds will go to Engineers for Overseas Development – EFOD: an international development charity which aims to deliver projects to poverty-afflicted communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Bradley is part of the charity’s London group, currently working on a number of projects for Kumi Hospital in rural Eastern Uganda. The hospital was badly damaged during the civil war and receives very little state funding. Bradley is involved in projects including ensuring a reliable source of water (pump house project); the design and construction of a new latrines block; rebuild of a medical waste incinerator and also a solar heated hot water system. More projects are in the pipeline to help a community in one of the poorest parts of the world.

EFOD is run solely on donations. To donate please click  here. To find out more about EFOD please visit their website  here. If you would like to get involved do get in touch!
