Major extension and refurbishment of the indoor sports facilities at the historic Iffley Road track where Roger Banister broke the four-minute barrier for the mile.
Two sports halls, squash courts, martial arts space, fitness and dance suite, and indoor cricket centre are provided in new state of the art buildings to attract the best in university sportsmen.
The building is on the edge of the flood plain and mitigation measures were required.
